Final Week of Parksville Beach Festival 2022
Parksville Beach Festival is having a successful return with sculptors, musicians and visitors flocking to Parksville beach. This is the FINAL WEEK of the festival with the must-see Light Show and final concerts.
Visitors can take in the Quality Foods Sand Sculpting Exhibition of sculptures daily 9:30am-8:30pm until Sunday, August 21; however, the visiting hours will extend this weekend as the sculptures will be all a-glow Friday and Saturday evening featuring professional lighting. Brought to you by Coastal Community Credit Union, the light show provides a unique and wonderfully different experience that is ideal for photos. Entrance gates will remain open until 11pm, Friday and Saturday, August 19 and 20, aligned with Parksville Community Park schedule.
Final Tim Hortons outdoor summer concert series in the new Parksville Outdoor Theatre this weekend:
Friday, August 19, 6:30-8:30pm: “Big Pacific” Rock & Roll
Saturday, August 20, 6:30-8:30pm: “Big Sky Wanderers” Rock & Pop 70s to 2000s
…with Quality Foods Festival of Lights Fireworks beginning immediately after the final concert.
The Society’s goal is to surpass visitor counts in 2019 (115,118) and they have counted just over 94,000 to date. Proceeds from the sand sculpting gate donations support local non-profit organizations and community projects. To find out more, www.parksvillebeachfest.ca
