Parksville Beach Festival Society’s goal is to offer the facility to the community at reasonable rental rates while also raising sufficient funds to cover the operational costs of the facility.

Renters are welcome to bring in their own sound and lighting; however, we also offer the option of renting our system which includes a professional technician, an assistant, and the following equipment.

- 4 – Yamaha 12” Biamped Two Way Speakers w/rotatable horn
- 2 – Yamaha 18” Subwoofers

- Vocal and instrument microphones, stands, and all associated cabling

Theatre events that attract an audience and will require use of the performance venue area must obtain a City of Parkville Outdoor Theatre Event Permit. Beach Festival Society will assist renters in the completion of the permit.
All renters must carry a minimum of $2 million liability insurance. The applicant must obtain and provide a copy of valid comprehensive general liability insurance protecting the City of Parksville against liability for bodily injury, death, or property damage, arising out of the event.
Minimum limit of $2 million commercial general liability insurance against third-party claims for bodily injury, death, property, and loss of use. Note: a higher limit of liability insurance might be required depending on event-specific details (such as traffic impacts, attendance numbers, length of event). Minimum deductible of $5,000.00 per occurrence, with cross liability clause.
The beautiful park setting combined with a world class facility, top quality sound equipment and technicians, an area that can hold several thousand people and an available box office to sell tickets make this an outstanding venue to host ticketed events.
The immediate area in front of the stage has the capacity of 2000 audience members and if additional space is needed, the extended area can be requested which accommodates up to a maximum 4500 audience members.
The Parksville Beach Festival Society has 6-foot-high fencing complete with privacy screening for installation around the perimeter of the performance venue area. To have the fence installed and removed for your event, Parksville Beach Festival Society will charge a minimum $500 or $1 per ticket sold, whichever is greater..
