Van-Roc Interiors “Opening Weekend” Concert Featuring April Wine
The Parksville Beach Festival Society is excited to announce that legendary Canadian rock band April Wine will headline the Opening Weekend Concert on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Parksville Outdoor Theatre in beautiful Parksville Community Park.
Presented by Van-Roc Interiors, the concert officially kicks off the 2026 festival with a night of classic Canadian rock. Victoria’s own The Tumblin’ Dice will open the show, bringing high-energy country and rock favourites to get the crowd warmed up.
Formed in 1969, April Wine became one of Canada’s most successful rock bands, selling more than 20 million albums worldwide. Fans can expect to hear iconic hits like Roller, I Like to Rock, You Could Have Been a Lady and Just Between You and Me. The band has earned 11 Juno Award nominations and has been inducted into both the Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame and the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.

The Opening Weekend Concert marks the official start of the 2026 Parksville Beach Festival — a celebration of art, music and family fun set against the stunning waterfront backdrop of Parksville.
Cancellation Policy: The Parksville Beach Festival Society has a “no refund” policy for cancellations.
Pet Policy: Animals are NOT allowed inside the concert area, regardless if being carried. Service animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability are welcome.
Chairs available for rent for $5 or you are welcome to bring your own!
The Parksville Beach Festival Society is planning for liquor service provision at this event. Please note that concert goers are not allowed to bring alcohol or any other liquids into the venue and our team will screen for this at the entrance gate. Any prohibited items, including outside liquor, will be confiscated. As free potable water will be available on site attendees may however bring empty water bottles. There will be a wide range of alcoholic and non alcoholic refreshments available to purchase. We appreciate your cooperation
