New for 2024: Parking & Shuttle Service
The Parksville Beach Festival Society is pleased to announce that we have arranged for continuous shuttle service before, during and after the Saturday Concert only. As ticket sales identify Saturday, August 10 to be the busiest of the 3-day festival, a continuous shuttle bus service will run 10:30am to 10:30pm within Parksville. This will help reduce the parking challenges within Parksville Community Park.
The shuttle bus will be an RDN Transit bus with the “Special Event” Identifier. PIck up / Drop off locations will be at Ballenas Secondary School, The Parkville Exchange and along Hwy 19A:
• Hwy 19A , close to Log Cabin /Rathtrevor Access
• Hwy 19A, Close to traffic lights turning into Resort Way
• Hwy 19A at Arbutus Road (in front of Heritage Mall)
Parking at Heritage Mall is not permitted. Please park along resort drive in a designated area.
Concert attendees will be able to board the shuttle at any of these locations and exit the shuttle just outside the concert box office. Cost of this service is by cash donation (suggested $5.00 for a round trip) and may be paid as you enter the bus. We thank you in advance as donations will help us cover the cost of the shuttle service. Riders may bring their lawn chairs and small picnic baskets onboard.
