New for 2024-Parking & Shuttle Service

The Parksville Beach Festival Society is pleased to announce that we have arranged for continuous shuttle service before, during and after the concert from the following parking lots:

  • Ballenas Secondary School, 135 Pym St
  • Heritage Mall (Serious Coffee) 1209 Island Highway
  • The Parksville Exchange (located by City Hall)
  • Resort Drive

Concert attendees will be able to board the shuttle at any of these locations and be dropped off right outside the concert box office.

Cost of this service is by donation (suggested $5.00 for a round trip) and may be paid as you enter the bus. Donations will help cover the cost of transportation.

Riders are allowed to bring their lawn chairs and small picnic baskets onboard.

As this is the opening weekend of Beach Festival, plus a volleyball tournament being held in the park, on-site parking will be very limited therefore the new shuttle service provides a great alternative.

The success of this service will determine if it can be continued for future concerts.  Click here for shuttle stop schedule and Click here for shuttle stop locations.

Additional Parking Info: All parking areas in Parksville Community Park are open to the public and may be utilized on a first-come first-served basis. We anticipate these lots will fill up quickly.

We encourage all concert attendees to consider alternatives, either parking off-site and walking to the theatre or utilizing the new shuttle service.

For those requiring accessible parking there are a limited number of designated accessible spaces available in the park.
