2009 Competition Schedule
The Canadian Open Sand Sculpting Competition is held at the Community Park in Parksville which is located on the ocean side of Hwy 19A (exit 46), on Corfield Road in the center of town.

Exhibit open to the public from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm until August 30, 2009

Total competition - 24 hours.
POUND UP will be done on Friday and any carving done on Friday will be automatically disqualified. You may pound up on Saturday if needed.
- Soloist will receive 10 yards of sand with a 15' x 15' plot size
- Teams - maximum 6 people, no substitutions are allowed, will receive 20 yards of sand with a 30' x 30' plot size.
